The San Mateo County Health Foundation offers a variety of ways to get involved and support health equity across our community. 

• Individuals can volunteer at events like our annual golf tournament and donor appreciation gatherings, help source supplies for the hospital’s annual backpack drive in the summer and toy drive during the holidays, or put together mailers for our year-end appeal campaign.
• Host your own fundraising event or donation campaign to benefit the Foundation – whether it’s a bake sale, a fitness challenge, or a partnership with a local restaurant that donates a portion of proceeds from every meal sold to SMCHF.
• Share your voice – become a committee member or apply for board membership.

Company Team-Building Activity

Your company can participate in a unique, hands-on sponsorship experience. Through our onsite group activities, employees come together to assemble baby bags filled with newborn essentials for underserved families in San Mateo County. It’s a powerful way for companies to support their employees’ passion for giving back – while making a direct impact in the local community. It also goes a long way in strengthening team dynamics and building a sense of shared purpose. The Foundation will plan your activity, order and deliver the supplies needed, and manage your event. We do not charge a facilitation fee, and every dollar from your sponsorship goes directly toward the cost of supplies.
